Dreams come to us as something alien, weird and fuzzy, we also reflect the internal, the wishes and repressions that plague our minds. Dreams allow us to have experiences that, in the real plane, they could not conceive, or are so vivid that reality seems a dream.
In "My favorite trips, Javier Swedzky resorts to the most beautiful objects with a uniquely designed to tell the dreams of Washington Beltran, a tailor who loves his profession and his fiancée Sophia Loren Varela Evening daughter Varela. Travel dream of these three characters are the voice of Javier who serves as mediator between reality and representation. The sea is the place designated for Washington Beltran crossed his fantasies: asleep in bed, sitting on a box spring which thousands of buttons for each wave or a mystical encounter with Silvia, the Patron Saint of Tailors.
The stage curtain is constructed with a beautifully embroidered with the moments of the life of Washington Beltran, there stands an old Singer in front, a vintage radio broadcasts music of the 60s. The tailoring is moving sign, small and full of drawers, several drawers and devices where arise puppets, music boxes and zig-zag scissors that end tragically devour the dreams of Washington, Sofia and Evening.

Beltran accede to Washington only for his dreams, love of work and the objects it produces. "My Favorite Things" was first introduced in 2003 and toured several festivals through France, Germany, Switzerland and Argentina.
